Dietrofront Online withdrawal for WooCommerce
Italian online shops must let customers withdraw from a purchase online — art. 54-bis of the Italian Consumer Code (Codice del Consumo, recesso online). Dietrofront adds exactly that to WooCommerce, without a page builder or a monthly fee.
The problem
The law asks for a clear withdrawal button, a confirmation step and a receipt with date, time and the text of the declaration. Most shops handle it with a contact form and an email — which is not what the law describes.

- Pre-contractual notice on the product page and in the cart.
- Withdrawal button (pulsante di recesso) with the statutory wording and a two-step flow: request, then a separate confirmation.
- From "My orders" for registered customers, and a public withdrawal page for guests (shortcode, order number + email check).
- Automatic email receipt with date, time and the text of the declaration — plus a notification and an order note for the shop owner.
Made for real shops
Texts are editable in the WooCommerce settings, templates can be overridden by the theme, and custom, personalised or sealed products can be excluded. A delivery-date field marks the start of the withdrawal period. Rate limiting, nonce checks and HPOS compatibility are built in.
